All art is protected with a high quality top coat such as polyurethane, varnish, etc. in most cases finished to it’s natural beauty. If stained it is allowed to absorb and dry as the wood dictates. This creates a beautiful natural color with gain variations while enhancing the unique patterns within the wood. We paint only pines and popular woods if you the customer requests.
